Special Proposal for 2 persons Southwestern Crete – 3 days cruise with Axopar
Indulge yourselves with the most spectacular private cruise, specially designed for 2 persons!
Traveling with your better half or your best friend? Wishing to visit as many Cretan beaches as you can, on both the northern and the southern part? Longing for a private cruise to secluded places and hidden villages known only to locals, but also to the most famous beaches? This 3-days cruise is for you!
If your Cretan vacation plan involves more than 5 days, why not starting your vacation or finishing it by spending 3 days on yacht? We can welcome you on the island, take care of your luggage and host your first 3 days. Or, you can leave your last 3 days of vacation to be spent on yacht with us, so that you can explore all places you wouldn’t be easily able to, but without any compromise in luxury.
A really amazing cruise which lets you explore Crete known only to locals and visit places that can only be reached by sea. Tropical beaches, turquoise waters, local food and unique sceneries all wet by the Libyan Sea right opposite to Africa.
We depart from Chania (Northern part) and we stop to 7-8 beaches perimetrical from Crete, heading west . Our first stop is famous Balos lagoon. Then we are heading South, towards Elafonissi, the famous pink sand beach, Paleochora, then places such as Agia Roumeli, among others, which is the end of the epic Samaria Gorge, Agios Pavlos, Marmara, Glyka Nera and Loutro, the village that cars don’t exist, cause it can only be reached by sea!
Axopar is the perfect motor yacht for this two-persons cruise: new, modern, luxurious, but also quick and flexible, it has separate crew cabin and it can offer to you the luxuries of a big yacht, while being able to reach shores and shallow waters that big yachts cannot.

Day 1: Chania / Balos / Gramvousa
We will depart from the Old Port of Chania at around 12pm, a nice way to avoid crowds for a longer stay to the most-wanted destination: you will spend your first day visiting the world -famous Balos lagoon, on the northern part of Crete, which is voted each year among the 10 most beautiful beaches in the world. Turquoise waters, white and gold sand and exceptional land formations will be waiting for you to enjoy. Gramvousa island, where you will spend your first night, is very close to Balos and is a must-see, as well: used as a hide-out from pirates in Medieval years, this small uninhabited island combines sightseeing the remnants of a Venetian castle and also a unique collection of rare plants which classified this place as Natura – protected. This is a place for a great snorkeling experience. Actually your dinner will be a private bbq on the beach of Gramvousa!
Day 2: Krios / Elafonissi / Paleochora / Tripiti / Loutro
Your second day will start by cruising south and visiting hidden bays , such as Krios with its visible ancient tombs underwater and Tripiti, the isolated beach, non-accessible by land or world- famous beaches like Elafonissi where sea shells have given the sand a unique pink color. You can always choose where to stop for swimming and snorkeling or just relaxing, but the ultimate destination will be Loutro, the picturesque fishing village, which is reachable only by sea! Loutro offering an original Cretan experience with its taverns and small houses in front of the sea is the place where we will also spend the night.
Day 3: Glyka Nera / Marmara / Samaria Gorge / Chania
On your last day of this unforgettable cruise you will be given the chance to explore more of the beaches and gulfs which are wet by the Libyan sea on the Southern part: Glyka Nera (meaning Sweet Waters in Greek) is a nudist breathtaking beach which is given this name because of the natural springs that end up in sea and make animals reach shore in order to drink it, Marmara (meaning marbles) beautiful beach with pebbles and cliffs resembling marble and, of course, Agia Roumeli, the end of the epic Samaria Gorge. Then we will start heading North to arrive at Chania Old Venetian Port at around 6pm.
Or, you can split the stops between Day 2 and Day 3 as proposed above, which means that you will depart from Loutro sometime in the morning and head back North stopping at bays and beaches that you didn’t see the day before.
